William H. Olson, USAID Area Agriculture Advisor for the three southern states of Brazil: Parana, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, among "his own" people. He is seen in photographs Nos. 1, 2, & 3 visiting with farmers in the municipality of Colombo, state of Parana. He regularly inspects and personally appraises AID-assisted rural extension services, 4-H clubs and home economics which are raking root into he remotest regions of the country. In photograph No. 1 he chats with Miss Judith Correa de Araujo, 32, home economics technician, as a farmer's wife works on a bed-cover with thread extracted and washed from flour sacking.
