Sprinting for the first down, a receiver with the 215th Brigade Support Battalion “Blacksmiths,” 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division Chief Warrant Officer 3 Luqman Howard runs for the first down while a defender with the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment “Warhorse,” 3rd ABCT, reaches in to grab his flag during the brigade-wide Turkey Bowl Nov. 24. The Turkey Bowl was a brigade-wide competition during which teams from every battalion battled for the Commander’s Cup in a flag football tournament. The last two teams standing were the Warhorse Battalion and the Blacksmith Battalion.
