First Lt. John Woolridge, an ammunition officer with the 215th Brigade Support Battalion “Blacksmiths,” 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, attempts to evade a pair of defenders from the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment “Warhorse,” 3rd ABCT, during the brigade-wide Turkey Bowl Nov. 24. The Turkey Bowl was a brigade-wide competition during which teams from every battalion battled for the Commander’s Cup in a flag football tournament. The last two teams standing were the Warhorse Battalion and the Blacksmith Battalion. In the end, Warhorse took the Cup.
