Andrew Moran, a North Carolina National Guard Soldier deployed to Kosovo with 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 252nd Armor Regiment, keeps a strong pace during a 4-mile ruck march for the Multinational Battle Group-East Soldier of the Month competition, Jan. 9, 2016, at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The two-day competition included an evaluation on each competitor’s physical fitness, weapons knowledge, and ability to evaluate and evacuate a casualty.
