Master Gunnery Sgt. Tarik Inge, left, and Col. Christopher Snyder make the first donations during the 2016 Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society Active Duty Fund Kickoff event March 1, aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The NMCRS is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and educational assistance to members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps along with eligible family members. The event is held annually to raise funds to support programs and services provided by the NMCRS, and increases overall awareness of these programs among active-duty Marines and sailors. Snyder is the deputy commander for Marine Corps Installations Pacific- Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan. Inge is the lead Navy-Marine Coordinator for MCIPAC.
