CHINHAE, Republic of Korea (Mar. 23, 2016) - Engineering Aid 1st Class Larzon Ong guides Engineering Aid Constructionman Alexis Chamot, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, in the calibration of the Trimble 5000 series geode meter. This meter will be used to take a topographical survey for the initial design of a storage lot on the U.S. Naval Chinhae Facility during the 2016 Foal Eagle exercise. Foal Eagle is a series of joint and combined field training exercises conducted by Combined Forces Command and U.S. Forces Korea component commands. Approximately 10,600 U.S. forces will participate in the exercise, with ROK forces from major ROK units representing all services also participating.
