CHINHAE, Republic of Korea (Mar. 23, 2016) - Taking a peak into the sights of a Trimble 5000 series geode meter, Engineering Aid Constructionman Alexis Chamot shoots elevation measurements for the topographical survey for the initial design of a storage lot on the US Naval Chinhae Facility during the 2016 Foal Eagle exercise. Recording topographical information is a construction process necessary to accurately plan and estimate for everything from, materials, design layout, to how many crew members are essential to complete the project.
