The III Corps motor pool at Fort Hood, Texas, is full of excess equipment for turn in or lateral transfer. The 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division is spearheading an Army-wide effort to do away with excess, obsolete and unserviceable equipment. This effort will establish the process that the rest of the Army will use to turn-in or laterally transfer equipment.
