Gary Peters delivers remarks to a crowd of 300 distinguished guests including a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient, elected officials, military officers, veterans, family, friends and members of the public during a naming ceremony at the GM Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit on the international riverfront. Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus announced the Navy's newest Arleigh Burke class guided-missle destroyer, DDG 120, was named Carl M.
