Ensuring the Shadow unmanned aerial vehicle is ready for the next flight, Spc. Ben Hughes from Fort Drum, N.Y., a Shadow maintainer in 2nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, U.S. Division - Center, refills the aircraft's oil reservoir, March 7. The Shadow aircraft from the launch site, operated by 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, have reached 20,000 flight hours in the last 10 months.
