160517-N-KH151-069 YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 11, 2016) Damage Controlman Fireman Maya Bakri, from Bloomington, Minnesota; and Seaman Recruit Taya McCormick, from Virginia Beach, Virginia receive check-in sheets upon arrival to the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Check-in sheets help Sailors become familiarized with locations and services aboard the ship by requiring them to visit select spaces for signatures. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
