Hippolyte Tavares, 932nd Blood Support Detachment, blood support warehouse shift leader, tapes up a box of donated red blood cell bags prior to shipment through the Air Force at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, March 12. The Blood Support Warehouse manufactures, stores, distributes blood and blood products to medical treatment facilities throughout sites in Iraq and Afghanistan. Tavares is currently deployed from Fort Hood, Texas and is a native of Newark, NJ.
