U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Christopher Bravo (left), Blood Support Warehouse Non-commissioned Officer In Charge, and shift leader Sgt. Hippolyte Tavares, both members of the 932nd Blood Support Detachment, work together to electronically transfer bags of donated red blood cells prior to physically moving them for shipment through the Air Force at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, March 12. The Blood Support Warehouse manufactures, stores and distributes blood and blood products to medical treatment facilities throughout sites in Iraq and Afghanistan. The detachment is deployed from Fort Hood, Texas. Bravo is a native of Sacramento, Calif., and Tavares is a native of Newark, N.J.
