The 8th Military Police Brigade headquartered in Schofield Barracks facilitated a two-week law enforcement certification course for Barnes and four of fellow Army Reserve Solders assigned to the 414th MP Company headquartered in Joplin, Missouri. The training and certification courses are products of recent initiatives between U.S. Army Pacific and the 200th MP Command, the Army Reserve's largest law enforcement agency, to support one another through the Army's Total Force Policy that promotes the integration of manpower, equipment and unique capabilities among the active duty, National Guard and Reserve components.
