WATERS NEAR JAPAN (May 23, 2016) – Cmdr. Jason Kipp, commanding officer of the guided-missile destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92), addresses the ship’s crew during an all hands call. The destroyers Momsen, USS Decatur (DDG 73), and USS Spruance (DDG 111), with embarked “Devil Fish” and “Warbirds” detachments of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49, are deployed as part of a U.S. 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
