BICOL, Philippines (May 31, 2016) - Steelworker 3rd Class Gregory Hairston, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, carries lumbar to the project site where NMCB 4 Seabees and Philippine Army members are working together during Pacific Partnership 2016 to build and renovate a school building for 650 local children. Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness missions conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, focusing on developing and strengthening partner-nation relationships, preparing for all hazards and building shared knowledge between U.S. and host nations.
