BICOL, Philippines (May 31, 2016) - Providing support and stability, Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 and the Philippine Army’s 565th engineer construction battalion 51st engineer brigade balance a rebar cage to be used for a building column, May 31. NMCB 4 Seabees and Philippine Seabees work alongside each other to build and renovate school buildings for 650 local children during Pacific Partnership 2016. These new facilities will provide children with modern amenities to enhance their learning experience for generations to come. Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness missions conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, focusing on developing and strengthening partner-nation relationships, preparing for all hazards and building shared knowledge between U.S. and host nations.
