U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Travis Thompson, section sergeant, 2nd Platoon, Bravo Battery, 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, from Winchester, Va., checks to make sure his Soldiers are all in the right places at the Taza Council in Taza, Iraq, March 23. The visit gave Thompson a chance to show an Iraqi Non-comissioned Officer how U.S. NCOs organize a security watch as part of the Iraqi Adopt An NCO Program, a three-day event in which Iraqi NCOs embed with U.S. Soldiers from 6-1 Cav. to learn first hand how U.S. NCOs interact with their units.
