Marines gather for their live-fire range safety brief the day prior to conducting the culminating event of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Combined Arms Exercise 2016 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., June 16. MEUCAX is an opportunity for the MEU’s ground combat, logistics, and aviation elements to work together and conduct offensive and defensive mission sets in an austere environment in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
