Capt. R.J. Lovich (right), a native of New Castle, Pennsylvania and graduate of the Internal Medicine Internship Program, Department of Medicine, William Beaumont Army Medical Center, receives his diploma from Lt. Col. Erik S. Manninen, director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, during WBAMC’s Graduate Medical Education graduation at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, June 18. The WBAMC GME program trains physicians, medical students and other health care professionals by placing equal emphasis on patient care, teaching and research. The WBAMC Internal Medicine Internship is the first year of a three-year training program leading to eligibility for board certification in Internal Medicine.
