JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM (July 6, 2016) - Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Robert Burket, form Tonawanda, New York, performs corrosion control on the landing gear of an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the Vigilantes of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 151, on USS John C. Stennis' (CVN 74) flight deck during Rim of the Pacific maritime exercise 2016. RIMPAC, held from June 30 to Aug. 4, in and around the Hawaiian Islands and southern California, will include 26 nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel. Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, John C. Stennis is operating as part of the Great Green Fleet on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment.
