A soldier with 3rd Battalion, 24th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division grips his rifle while heading to the firing line in preparation for his first experience shooting an M-16 rifle at Joint Security Station Nasir Wa Salam April 17. Prior to the range, Soldiers with 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, U.S. Division-Center conducted training classes to familiarize Iraqi soldiers with the rifle and give them a broader knowledge as to how it operates.
