MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII —Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a Congresswomen with the 2nd Congressional District of Hawaii, speaks at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new MV-22 hangar on Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, July 19, 2016. Gabbard, a major in the Hawaii National Guard, was a key supporter and advocated to congress for the construction of the hangar. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of a MV-22 Osprey hangar. The unit will be the first Osprey squadron to be stationed in Hawaii. Senior military leaders, members of Hawaii’s congressional delegation and key community partners attended the event to support and praise the completion of the MV-22 hangar.
