The seven-man team of Marine Aviation Logistics Sqadron 16 use clamps like this to hold rocket motors still while attaching warheads to prevent misthreading and to ensure the warhead seats firmly. The Marines serve aboard Dwyer in six-week rotations. However, they are moved back to their parent unit earlier, or sometimes later, based on the unit's needs.
