Maj. Gen. Simeon Trombitas, commanding general, JTF-Haiti, says goodbye to Gen. Douglas M. Fraser, commanding general, U.S. Southern Command, during his visit to Port-au-Prince May 3. Fraser spent the day walking through the resettlement camp, Tabarre Issa, visited with the U.S. ambassador to Haiti and spoke with the president of Haiti. Fraser continues to visit Port-au-Prince to witness first-hand the improvements made in the relief efforts and to continue to show support in the relationship between the U.S. government and the government of Haiti.
