PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 10, 2016) Sailors, and their family and friends onboard for a tiger cruise, gather on the flight deck as USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) pulls into San Diego. A tiger cruise is an opportunity for Sailors to invite their family and friends to experience life underway aboard a Navy ship. Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 is disembarking from John C. Stennis in San Diego before the ship returns to its homeport in Bremerton, Washington. Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, John C.
