Stennis (CVN 74) pulls into San Diego at the end of a tiger cruise. A tiger cruise is an opportunity for Sailors to invite their family and friends to experience life underway aboard a Navy ship. Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 is disembarking from John C. Stennis in San Diego before the ship returns to its homeport in Bremerton, Washington. Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, John C. Stennis is returning from a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment.
