Sgt. Richard Hall, military policeman, 65th Military Police Company, deployed from Fort Bragg, N.C., gives a demonstration to Guatemalan Soldiers on the proper handling and assembling of an M4 rifle during the platoon exchange on May 15. Soldiers from the 65th MP Company spent the morning in classes on Guatemalan military tactics. Later that day, the Soldiers taught the Guatemalans the proper handling and assembling of several weapons and what to do if they spotted an improvised explosive device. The exchange was a learning opportunity for both armies, as well as a chance for Soldiers to sit and talk with Soldiers of a different culture.
