During the platoon exchange, Guatemalan Soldiers ride atop Humvees practicing what they learned, after receiving a class on what to do should they come across an improvised explosive device. Soldiers from the 65th Military Police Company, deployed from Fort Bragg, N.C., spent the morning in classes on Guatemalan military tactics. That afternoon, the MPs gave classes on the proper handling and assembling of several weapons and what to do if they spotted an improvised explosive device. The exchange was a learning opportunity for both armies, as well as a chance for Soldiers to sit and talk with Soldiers of a different culture.
