Master Sgt. Timothy Smith, from Laurelville, Ohio, a construction supervisor and inspector with 16th Engineer Brigade, performs a demonstration to Brig. Gen. Glenn C. Hammond, III, commander of 16th. He uses a fishing pole and simulated corridor of cups to train Iraqi army crane operators how the crane handles and controls. Smith has spent the past few months working as the engineer advisor to 9th IA FER. This was Hammond's final visit to the 9th IA FER headquarters ahead of his unit's redeployment to the United States.
