Brig Gen. Glenn C. Hammond, III, commander of 16th Engineer Brigade, tries the "crawl" phase of crane training, April 28, that has been taking place at the headquarters of 9th IA FER. Hammond had the opportunity to experience what one of his Soldiers, Master Sgt. Timothy Smith, from Laurelville, Ohio, a construction supervisor and inspector with 16th, has been using to familiarize Iraqi Army crane operators with the handling and control of a crane.
