SMITH, Hawaii -- International students attending the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School's Strategic Leaders International Course pose for a picture at the headquarters of United States Pacific Command at Camp H.M. Smith in Hawaii. The students, from Malaysia, Bangladesh and the Philippines, traveled to Hawaii as part of NAVSCIATTS' Field Study Program. SLIC is a senior level course created to expand military education to senior officers or civilian equivalent leaders. NAVSCIATTS, which is located at the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, is a Security Cooperation schoolhouse operating under the U.S. Special Operations Command in support of Foreign Security Assistance and Geographic commander's Theater Security Cooperation.
