160823-N-JK586-017 HONOLULU, Hawaii -- International students attending the Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School's Strategic Leaders International Course tour a U.S. Coast Guard ship in Hawaii in a recent Field Study Program tour pror to graduation from the four-week course. SLIC is a senior level course that expands military education to senior officers or civilian equivalent leaders. The course study features an operational campaign design focused on counter-terrorism, transnational organized crime and a myriad of other security challenges that are included in the maritime domain. Naval Special Warfare's NAVSCIATTS, located at the John C. Stennis Space Center, is a Security Cooperation schoolhouse operating under the U.S. Special Operations Command in support of Foreign Security Assistance and Geographic commander's Theater Security Cooperation.
