ENTERPRISE, Ala. (Sept. 11, 2016) -- Soldiers assigned to the 1st Squadron, 131st Cavalry, Alabama Army National Guard, prepare to be admitted into the Honorary Order of Saint George by being knighted in a ceremony at the Fort Julius Hicks Armory, here, Sept. 11, 2016.

The 12 Soldiers who are kneeling are about to be recognized for having qualified for entry into the order through their long and honorable service to Armor and Cavalry in a traditional ritual that serves to represent the very best of the Cavalry history and lineage.

Guests in attendance to witness the occasion included members of the order, current and former unit members, their families and friends.
