An Iraqi Policeman stands watch next to Marines assigned to 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5. The Iraqi Forces, including Iraqi Army soldiers, work side-by-side with the Marines to control who and what gets into Fallujah while manning entry control points. Some of the main checkpoints process between 1,000 to 1,500 vehicles per day, each searched by the checkpoint forces. Proper identification cards issued by Marines are a mandatory requirement to get into the city. Without them people are turned away.
