An Iraqi Army soldier searches a vehicle's trunk at an entry control point leading into Fallujah. The soldiers work side-by-side with Marines from 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, as well as Iraqi Police. The checkpoint forces control who and what gets into Fallujah and without proper identification and searching, no one passes through. Some of the bigger checkpoints see between 1,000 to 1,500 vehicles per day carrying everything from passengers to produce into the city.
