160930-N-WF272-065 HONG KONG (Sept. 30, 2016) Chief Robert Vonggonthong, assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), introduces himself to the students of Lan Chi Pat Memorial Secondary school as part of a community relations outreach. The ship is on a scheduled port visit to Hong Kong in order to enhance relations with the local community and to allow Sailors and Marines the opportunity to experience Hong Kong's vibrant culture. Bonhomme Richard, flagship of the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility in support of security and stability in the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
