Pushing it to the limit was the order of the day here on June 15, as Staff Sgt. Patrick Easley, a Noncommissioned Officer representing the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion from Kalamazoo, Mich., focuses on his form as a cadre member looks on. Easley and 13 others compete for this year's U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne) Best Warrior Competition. The 415th CA Battalion is a subordinate unit under the 353rd Civil Affairs Command, which is under USACAPOC(A). The overall command is comprised of nearly 12,000 Soldiers in 67 units across 31 states and Puerto Rico. USACAPOC(A) is five percent of the U.S. Army Reserve Command's force and is responsible for approximately 20 percent of the Army Reserve deployments.
