Additional Marines from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) attend cultural awareness training aboard the USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) prior to their expected arrival in Haiti in response to Hurricane Matthew. They will soon join the 24th MEU Marines and sailors who initially responded aboard the USS Mesa Verde (LPD-19) and USS George Washington (CVN-73). Their presence will further increase the 24 MEU's ability to quickly provide vital assistance and to transport and distribute supplies where they are most needed. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
