Army Staff Sgt. Kenneth Butler, from Braintree, Mass., last deployed with Company C, 1/504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne, meets with Soldiers he served with prior to being injured in combat as he and ten other wounded warriors travel to Al Asad, Kuwait, to visit with service members, June 13, 2010. The wounded warriors spent the week, June 12-16, touring Iraq, visiting the sites where they had been injured, and taking time to meet with troops to talk about their experiences. The operation provided the opportunity for injured veterans to also see the overall progress that has been made in country since their deployed service. The goal is to provide closure for their traumatic experience and give them the chance to exit Iraq on their own terms.
