Sgt. Andy Butterworth, from Grain Valley, Mo., last deployed with 30th Brigade Combat Team, 1/120th Infantry uses his prosthetic leg to steady his rifle. Behind him and adding support stands Sgt. 1st Class John Hasenbein, from Cullman, Ala., with Company A, 1/5th Special Forces Group, Airborne as eleven wounded warriors fire on an Iraqi range near Baghdad, June 16, 2010. The wounded warriors spent the week, June 12-16, touring Iraq, visiting the sites where they had been injured, and taking time to meet with troops to talk about their experiences. The operation provided the opportunity for injured veterans to also see the overall progress that has been made in country since their deployed service. The goal is to provide closure for their traumatic experience and give them the chance to exit Iraq on their own terms.
