Eleven wounded warriors who returned to Iraq for Operation Proper Exit VII, attend the United States Forces-Iraq's Army birthday celebration in the rotunda of the Al Faw Palace in Baghdad, June 14, 2010. Operation Proper Exit provides the opportunity for injured veterans to return to Iraq to visit deployed service members, revisit the sites where they were injured, and to see the overall progress that has been made in country since their deployed service. The goal is to provide closure for their traumatic experience and give them the chance to exit Iraq on their own terms.
