ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 26, 2016) Seaman Josephine Arcus operates the lower stage three elevator in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Arcus serves aboard Ike as an aviation ordnanceman and helps transport and maintain aircraft weaponry. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
