Members of Underwater Construction Team (UCT) 2’s Construction Dive Detachment Bravo (CDDB), raise a damaged pylon in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, Nov. 7, 2016. CDDB is performing precision underwater demolition and light salvage to remove obstructions from Diego Garcia's deep draft wharf. CDDB is on the third stop of their deployment, where they are conducting inspection, maintenance, and repair of various underwater and waterfront facilities while under Commander, Task Force (CTF) 75, the primary expeditionary task force responsible for the planning and execution of coastal riverine operations, explosive ordnance disposal, diving engineering and construction, and underwater construction in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
