Tsuchiya Naoka demonstrates proper measuring techniques during a green tea seminar Nov. 22 on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The class was hosted by Marine Corps Community Services to teach Status of Forces Agreement members about the historical background, health benefits and proper preparation of Japanese green tea, which is also called ryokucha. Naoka, a certified tea specialist who led the class, carefully demonstrated the steps of preparing the tea and allowed students to prepare their own tea and learn more about the process.
