Nigerien Armed Forces recruits learn and work on sight picture during a marksmanship block of instruction, while an instructor makes corrections on body position and the proper way to hold the weapon.
Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, of the 1st Brigade Combat Team "Bastogne", 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), spent four weeks observing and mentoring basic combat training cadre of the FAN.
The Bastogne Brigade is the regionally allocated force supporting U.S. Army Africa events and exercises across the African continent this year.
