Haitian born Col. Berthony Ladouceur, 3rd Medical Command Deployment Support Chief of Staff, presents a commander’s coin to Sgt. Case Dewinkle, a medical ward master with 548th Minimal Care Detachment, for his outstanding performance at U.S. Army South New Horizons- Haiti 2010 Poteau medical assistance site August 3. New Horizons, in partnership with the government of Haiti, is conducting various medical, dental and engineering missions for the locals in Gonaives. New Horizons also provides valuable learning experience in a real-world environment for our U.S. Forces.
