Lawrence Wilson take their places for the change ofUnited States Force-Iraq command ceremony in the Al Faw palace rotunda, Sept. 1. Austin took command in a ceremony that also marked the end of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the beginning of Operation New Dawn. Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen, attended the ceremony at Al Faw palace.
