PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 11, 2017) – Seaman Johnmark Riveracaban chips paint using a needle gun in the vehicle stowage area aboard amphibious assault ship USS America’s (LHA 6). Removing worn and rusted paint is part of routine preservation of the ship. America is currently underway conducting routine operations in preparation for deployment later this year.
