Capt. Geoffrey Ball, the executive officer of India Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, and 1st Lt. Robert Barnhisel, the executive officer of Weapons Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, watch an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft land during casualty evacuation drills as part of a training exercise while forward deployed in the Middle East, Jan. 30, 2017. This sustainment training ensures that the MAGTF is trained in mission essential tasks and is able to respond effectively to possible crises throughout USCENTCOM, and serves as an opportunity to increase proficiency and readiness within the SPMAGTF. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is a well-trained crisis response unit that has the ability to project combat power over vast distances using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets.
